It works much better than the electric knives did to slice through that super crusty bread I love so much.Love this knife….great value..you know your holding a serious piece of culinary craftsmanship.i can cut my crusty moist sourdough breads into raiser thin slices. adore this knife! very very sharp. worth the price. hope it keeps its edge as serrated knives are very difficult to res-harpen and i've not found a professional knife sharper that will do this for me.Great knife, working to compete this set for my niece, got the paring knife and bread knife for her this year, chef's knife last year. Beautiful knives, take care not to put in the dishwasher.Good life with a good price. My homemade sourdough bread deserves this quality knife.Excellent knife for the price! The weight of the knife helps us to cut thinly sliced bread. The edge is sharp out of the box and the handle fits nicely in our hands. We had a really cheap bread knife and replaced it with this. We knew there were better and more expensive knives but this was one we decided to try and it works very well. Also it sharpens easily. We'd buy the knife again.Great quality knife, bought as a replacement for my current bread knife. Cuts cleanly, and precisely. Very pleased.
